Nhà Thiên An’s A+ grade phalaenopsis stays fresh for 4 to 8 weeks. Follow the steps below to keep the flowers lasting and to help the plant bloom again.
Light
Place it somewhere bright with diffused light; avoid harsh direct sun and very dark spots. The flowers last longer when they are not in direct sun.
Watering
Water about once a week, in the morning. Water only when the medium is dry; do not let water collect at the base of the leaves or in the pot. Overwatering is a common cause of damaged roots and flowers that fade quickly.
Temperature and airflow
It does best at 20–28°C. Avoid cold drafts, air conditioning blowing directly on the plant, and sudden temperature changes.
After the flowers fade
Cut the flower stem just above the 2nd or 3rd node so it can bloom again. Keep watering and leave the pot somewhere bright.
Frequently asked questions
How long do phalaenopsis flowers last?
Nhà Thiên An’s A+ grade orchids stay fresh for 4 to 8 weeks, depending on care and where the pot is placed.
Why do the buds drop or the flowers wilt?
Usually from overwatering, cold drafts or air conditioning blowing straight on the plant, sudden temperature changes, or too little light. Move the pot somewhere softly lit and airy, water less and avoid direct airflow.
Should I water the flowers?
No. Water sitting on the flowers and at the base of the leaves makes them fade faster; water only the growing medium.
